About Me!

My name is Jess and I am a busy stay at home wife, cook, baker, cake decorator, crafter, and as my beloved calls me, a professional volunteer. This blog was started as a way to chronicle our homeschooling class, but has since morphed into a foodie blog. My hope is that whether you burn water or know your way around a kitchen, you will find something here that entertains or teaches you.

We are a military family as well. My husband is a Chaplain in the Army, and this often affects how often my blog gets updated!
Deployments, moving, and an insane schedule are all at play here. Sometimes I blog more when he’s gone (more time on my hands) and sometimes I blog less when he’s gone (since I have less to blog about), so from time to time my blogging may be a bit sporadic, and sometimes I will post several new posts at once, so keep an eye out for new posts! Thank you for visiting my blog and please feel free to leave comments, we love to see new comments!

Blessings,

Jess
